Update galore

Well...

After a few hard months we're back and feeling better.

In May we found out we were pregnant we were so excited and a little nervous because of the miscarriage in October. May and most of June went by with things going well... we had an ultrasound and we found out that we were having TWINS and they both had heartbeats!!! I was due Feb 3rd. We were thrilled!!! Then we went in for our second ultrasound at 8 weeks and found out that we had lost them both. This was on Friday June 24th and I had a D&C the following Monday. The Dr. said that they probably "killed" each other off (nice use of words there huh?). They were identical and would have shared the same sac and that made them very high risk. I felt like my world was falling apart. We are ready for a family of our own and this loss was hard to accept. I'm sure everyone who has been through this knows it sucks and feels this way.

This pregnancy had really sunk in and we had gotten really excited. The first pregnancy we only knew a few days before the miscarriage so it was a little easier to get over. As of now we are back to trying and hoping for a baby soon. This experience has been a real testimony grower for me, which is a perk to a really sad hard thing.

On a happier note...

I finished my Math class. I'm now done with Math classes FOREVER! After school was out I realized we hadn't taken a real vacation this summer so we thought it would be fun to go to Idaho for my birthday(by we I mean me of course). So we went up to Idaho on Saturday after I got off work and stayed until the following Friday morning. I had a blast and I think Chace had fun too.

*We helped my parents paint their house.

*We went shooting.

*We celebrated my birthday.

*We mowed the lawn (this one may sound crazy but I haven't done it for years and it was a lot of fun.)

*We went to the Drive-in. Love the Drive-in and there isn't one in St. George.

*We went boating with Kaitlyn and Brennan and Kate's best friend Britney! It was a blast!

AND

I snuggled with my pups as much as I could! Chace even enjoyed some Ziggy time:)

Then.... We headed down to Provo for a get together with all of the in-laws. My in-laws don't get together very often... so this was fun. We had family pictures taken Friday night. Then we went to Payson City swim park on Saturday (this was fun except both Chace and I were fried from boating). Then we had a BBQ to end the night... Lance made delicious Steak and chicken and Chace's dad made the best dutch oven potatoes. YUM! We sat around and talked and played. Then Chace and I hit the road! We were glad to be home after a week away and back in time for our own church!

Chace has a new calling in Young Mens and I'm now in the Nursery(which I love!) We really love our ward and will be sad to leave when we decide to buy a house. We had to speak this last week for the 1st time and I was less than thrilled. At least it is over now.

I started school on Monday the 22nd. I'm taking all Communication classes this semester and just praying I survive. (I'm not a lover of school) and Chace is still kicking butt at work!!

Well... yup.. that's it! Bye for now!

We've finally joined the blogging world!

Well... we have finally taken the plunge and joined the blogging world. I've had this blog created for about a year now... but never gotten around to posting anything.
I'm still extremely confused as to how it works, (I mostly just enjoy reading other people's blogs), but we will give it a shot.

As for what is going on in our life's right now...

Chace works full time selling pre-need insurance ... basically he pre-plans funerals and provides burial insurance. Whenever we tell someone what he does they look at him all funny, but it's not that weird (he doesn't handle dead people). He really enjoys it. He loves the old people he works with and feels like he is really helping. And... and... he gets to work whenever he wants for how long he wants :) He still plays sports every week! Which is fine with me because I don't think he would be very happy without them. He also spends a lot of time working on his church calling he is the 1st counselor in the E.Q., so that takes a chunk of time! Anyways he's doing wonderful!

As for me...

I am working full time at Southwest Marble and Granite, selling granite counter tops. It is definitely not my ideal job but it has health insurance for us and I get to go to school while doing it. I'm hoping after having children I won't need to go back ;) Like I said I'm going to school. I will have my Associate's after this summer semester! Then I will be working on getting my Paralegal Certificate and a Bachelor's in Small Group Communications. I enjoy figuring out how people communicate and I think it will help me in the Law office setting eventually. Plus Dixie lacks a ton of options. ;) In my spare time I LOVE to sleep (always have), or be lazy in other ways. My church calling also keeps me very busy. Secretary in R.S. ahhh!

Anyways we are doing wonderfully and love life here in St. George!
